The first thing I would acknowledge is the use of Bible verses. I've always been amazed at how things found in scripture are relevant to things we deal with today, so it was nice to see examples between the two.

I resonated a lot with the passage regarding rejection from family members. Many people go through the trouble of trying to live up to their parents' expectations; just wanting their folks to be proud of them. You sometimes lose sight of what makes you happy because your only concern is your parents' happiness, while disregarding your own.

Feeling rejected by your significant other should never be tolerated, as a relationship requires effort from both parties in order for it function properly. I enjoyed the message given in the passage about experiencing rejection from your significant other, because it reassures you that where you may unloved, God will provide you with whatever it is he feels you need to feel loved.

Thank you for sharing with me and taking time out of your personal life.  I have not had a chance to completely finish reading yet but it really hits home for me on so many levels and makes a lot of sense. I was rejected by my biological father, my mother really didn’t want me and it showed, the person who I considered my father growing up committed suicide. I feel like I failed my kids, especially my daughter. I constantly feel rejected at home. I’m constantly being put down, called names, and feel like nothing I do ever seems good enough. These are just a few of the reasons rejection has played a part in my life. When you mentioned traveling down the road of dejection with the fear and believe that you are unacceptable and unworthy, that is me. Also, the movie Waiting to Exhale. Again I fall into that category, waiting for a man to give me a reason to exhale.

Please keep writing, you have no idea how many people you will have an impact on if they will take the time to read your work. You are very talented and special.
